Modified Women's Basketball Tournament
On Friday, June 23, 2023, Tribal Recreation & Wellness held the Women's Modified Basketball Tournament at District 5 Gymnasium. A total of 15 teams signed up for the 2-day tournament. The teams were from various tribes, such as Navajo Nation, Salt River Pima Maricopa Community, Tohono O'odham Nation, Ak-Chin Indian Community, Apache Tribes, and Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation.
Team Lady Gators from the Navajo Nation were the Champions, team AZ also from the Navajo Nation came in as the runner ups and team RNG from Navajo Nation came in 3rd place.
